From 2014 to 2018, they were a full stack developer at Social Point, where they managed the work of the teams, took new requirements, and planned future developments and maintenance for their applications. Since 2018, they have been working as a senior software engineer at New Relic, Inc., where they are the tech lead of the Clusters & Containers team and writes services in Java and Golang that process instrumentation data and produce meaningful inputs. Since 2022, they have been working as a senior software engineer at Timescale, where they work on the development of Promscale, a unified metric and trace observability backend for Prometheus, Jaeger and OpenTelemetry built on PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB.

Alejandro Do Nascimento obtained a Master's Degree in Information Technology Project Management from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya between 2013 and 2014. Prior to this, they earned a Computer Science Engineer degree from the Universidad Simón Bolívar between 2006 and 2012, with a concentration in Software Design, Programming, and Database Administration.
