Andrew Battenburg has been working in the tech industry since 2010. Andrew began their career as a Graphic Designer at Red Red Printing in 2010, then moved on to a Designer role at shiftalliance, where they were responsible for business research and leading a student team at the University of Washington. In 2012, they joined buuteeq Inc. as a Designer, coding front end designs and comps for production, testing and fixing cross-browser bugs, and designing and managing online advertising campaigns. In 2013, they joined Renticity as Lead Designer, where they developed branding, user experience, and front end designs, wrote and maintained CSS and HTML in production, and drafted project plans, specs, and documentation for SaaS products. In 2017, they moved to Cascadeo Corporation as a Cloud Engineer. Finally, in 2019, they joined Accretive Technology Group as a Software Engineer, before moving to their current role as Senior Software Engineer at Timescale in 2022.

Andrew Battenburg received a Bachelor of Science in Informatics from the University of Washington in 2011. In 2017, they obtained an Amazon Web Services Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
