Kiran Shesh is a seasoned executive currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of TIH Foundation for IoT and IoE at IIT-Bombay since March 2023. Prior experience includes a consultancy role with the Continuing Education Program at IIT Bombay from January 2019 to February 2023, and a CEO position at IITB-WUStL Research and Educational Academy, where Kiran facilitated collaborative programs between IIT Bombay and Washington University in St. Louis from January 2016 to September 2018. As a Managing Partner and PCC certified coach, Kiran improved operational efficiency for SME manufacturing companies between October 2012 and December 2015. Kiran's background also includes key leadership roles at Pall India, overseeing diverse industrial markets from 2006 to 2012, and at Monsanto India, managing operations and business development from 1997 to 2006, along with earlier experience at Sulzer India in sales roles. Kiran holds a B. Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and a Master’s Degree in Marketing & Finance from IIT Bombay's Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management.

Technology Innovation Hub for translational research on IoT (Internet-of-Things) and IoE (Internet-of-Everything) (TIH-IoT), is conceptualized by the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS) in its quest for Industry 4.0 and related areas. In order to leverage the strength of academia in innovation and to ensure proximity to captains of industry, TIH-IoT is established as a section 8 company (not for profit) in IIT-Bombay. It aims to emerge as a world leader in IoT and IoE technology solutions through multidisciplinary in-house R&D, interact with world leaders in this area, and support the industry for the transformation. TIH-IoT will leverage fundamental and applied research to innovate and apply to industry needs. At TIH-IoT, research and development activities are focused on Agriculture, Health, Smart education, Healthcare, Industrial applications using IoT-based wireless sensors networks, bio-IoT, aquatic IoT and distributed/hybrid IoT.
