Karen Hobson

Karen Hobson currently serves as the Head of Media Relations and Product Publicity at TikTok since November 2023. Previously, Hobson held multiple senior leadership roles at The Walt Disney Company, including Senior Vice President of Communications for both International Content and Operations and Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution from October 2020 to July 2023. Prior to that, Hobson served as Senior Vice President of Communications at Direct-to-Consumer & International from April 2018 to October 2020, and as Vice President of Corporate Communications for the Disney-ABC Television Group from 2013 to April 2018. Additional experience includes Director of Communications at Disney/ABC Television Group, Senior Manager of Media Relations at Disney Channel, and a Manager at Cartoon Network/Turner Broadcasting Systems. Early career experience included a publicist role at Much & House Public Relations from 1991 to 1995. Hobson completed education at UCLA and graduated from Glendale High School.
