Richard Newham

Richard Newham is an accomplished IT leader with extensive experience in technology operations and strategy. Currently serving as the Director of IT at Tilbury Douglas since May 2022, Richard has previously held key positions such as Information Technology and Services Consultant at City & Guilds, and Head of IT Operations at Sciensus, leading a team of 45 and managing an £8 million budget. Richard’s background also includes serving as Head of IT Operations for EMEA at FIS, where responsibilities encompassed technical service strategy delivery for the financial sector. Additional experience includes roles at Coventry PCT, encompassing Technical Services Manager, where Richard shaped ICT strategy and service design. Richard is currently pursuing a degree in Computing at The Open University, building on a solid foundation established at De Lisle RC School.
