Jean-Philippe Laborde has extensive experience in various managerial roles. Jean-Philippe is currently the Managing Director at Tilda, a position they have held since January 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Joint Managing Director at Tilda from October 2019 to January 2020. Before joining Tilda, they worked as the Managing Director at Ebro India from January 2012 to October 2019. Earlier in their career, they held positions at Groupe PANZANI, including External Manufacturing Procurement Manager from September 2006 to December 2011, and Export Manager (Milling division GMM) from June 2000 to August 2006. Jean-Philippe also worked at Mitsui OSK Lines as the Logistic Manager Southern Europe from January 1998 to August 1999, and as the Line Manager Import Asia from November 1996 to December 1997. Jean-Philippe started their professional journey at DHL as the Key Account Manager for the shipping operations (Danzas) from January 1994 to October 1996.

Jean-Philippe Laborde completed their Bachelor's degree in International studies from I.T.I.P. in 1994. Jean-Philippe then pursued a Master of Science degree in International Trade and Logistics from KEDGE Business School between 1999 and 2000. In 2015, they attended Harvard Business School Executive Education for a program on Executing and Aligning Strategy. Most recently, in 2018-2019, they completed the Senior Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School, where they studied Strategy, Corporate finance, innovation, and leadership.
