Bill Martinez

Bill Martinez is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in the footwear industry. Currently serving as a Freelance Design Consultant at William J. Martinez Design since February 2023, Bill has also held the position of Global Senior Designer for Men's Casual and Contemporary Footwear at Timberland since June 2017, where responsibilities included optimizing research and product development processes. Prior to Timberland, Bill worked at Triodesign as Principal and Design Director, successfully developing products for renowned brands such as LL Bean and Puma. Bill’s earlier roles include Senior Designer positions at Saucony, Reebok, and Adidas, where significant contributions were made in performance footwear design and consumer research. Bill began the career as a Designer and PLM at Lugz and as a Jr. Designer at Deskey after earning a BFA in Product Design from Parsons School of Design.
