Kristin Matzen

Kristin Matzen currently serves as Chief Communications Officer at TIME since July 2018, where previous roles included VP of Communications and Director of Communications. Prior to TIME, Kristin worked at Meredith Corporation as Director of Brand Communications and held various positions at Time Inc., including Senior Manager of Brand Communications. Kristin began a career in publicity at Penguin Random House, progressing from Publicity Manager to Senior Publicist and Publicist. Earlier experience includes positions at Simon and Schuster as an Associate Publicist and Little, Brown and Company as an intern. Kristin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Peace and Conflict Studies from Colgate University.
