Elizabeth Bastien has a long and varied work experience. Elizabeth began their career in 2007 as a Lacrosse Coach for Highland Park Girls Lacrosse. In 2008, they moved to Dallas ISD as an 8th Grade Science Teacher. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Substitute Teacher for Lamphere School District and Rochester Community Schools, as well as a Server at The Olive Garden. During this time, they also served as the Head Junior Varsity Lacrosse Coach for Rochester Adams High School. In 2013, they moved to Galveston ISD, Crenshaw Middle School as a Science/AVID Teacher 5-8. In 2017, they took a break from the workforce to become a Stay at Home Mom for Bastien Inc. In 2018, they returned to work as a Tinkergarten Leader and a 5th Grade Science Teacher for Galveston ISD, Collegiate Academy.
Elizabeth Bastien obtained a Diploma from Saint Mary's High School in 1998-1999, followed by a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Veterinary Science from the University of Arizona in 1999-2003. Elizabeth then attended the Dallas Independent School District Alternative Certification Program from 2008-2009 and obtained a Teaching Certificate in Education. Prior to that, they attended Notre Dame Preparatory from 1995-1998.
