Faried Nawaz

Faried Nawaz has extensive work experience starting from the year 2000. Faried began their career as a contractor at CresSoft (Pvt) Ltd, where they worked until 2003. From 2003 to 2005, they worked as a Unix System Janitor at Naseeb Networks and Naseeb Online Services (Pvt) Ltd - ROZEE.PK. In 2005, they became the CEO of Financial Information Services. Following this, they joined Tintash in 2011 as a server monkey and worked on mobile and web service backends using Flask (Python). At Tintash, they also served as the Head of Engineering from 2014 to 2018, during which they contributed to the growth of the team from 25 developers to over 100. Most recently, since September 2018, they have been the Chief Technical Officer at Tintash, where they worked on designing and implementing backend systems for clients such as LifePrint Photos using GCP, Elasticsearch, and Firebase technologies. Additionally, they have a senior url engineer role at #meditation since 1994.

Faried Nawaz has attended the University of Idaho but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. In November 2019, they obtained a certification in "Learning How to Learn: Powerful mental tools to help you master tough subjects" from Coursera.
