Estelle Collin

Estelle Collin is an experienced professional in biomedical engineering and innovation, currently serving as Associate Director of Innovation & Concepts Development at TISSIUM since June 2017. Collin leads the development of a 3D printing platform, focusing on biocompatible and biodegradable devices for peripheral nerve repair. Previous experience includes managing a research laboratory at Queen Mary University of London, where responsibilities encompassed laboratory setup, student training, and health and safety management, alongside postdoctoral research in drug testing and tissue engineering. Collin completed a PhD at the National University of Ireland, with research centered on nucleus pulposus regeneration and the impact of neck and low back pain on job-related disabilities. Educational background includes advanced degrees in cellular and molecular biology engineering and biomedical engineering.
