Maria Sainz

Maria Sainz is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the medical device industry. Currently serving as the President and CEO of Hyperfine since October 2022, Maria has held leadership roles at several prominent companies, including AEGEA Medical, Inc. and Cardiokinetix, both as President and CEO. Maria's strategic insights have also been leveraged in board positions, notably as a member of the Board of Directors for Shockwave Medical. With a strong foundation in global marketing and management developed during a lengthy tenure at Guidant/Boston Scientific, where Maria advanced through various roles including President of Cardiac Surgery, Maria’s expertise is supported by a Master’s in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
