Carolyn Isom possesses extensive experience in financial management, currently serving as Chief Financial Officer and Finance Director at Titon since December 2019. Prior to this role, Carolyn held the position of Finance Director at IT Fleet Automotive for five months in mid-2019 and worked at Tarmac as Area Finance Manager for London and the Southeast from November 2017 to June 2019. Additional experience includes roles such as Group Financial Controller at Cloudfm Group Ltd and Interim Accountant at housesimple.com in 2017, Financial Controller at Norman Disney & Young from 2008 to 2017, Product Controller at WestLB during 2007-2008, and Audit Senior at Scrutton Bland from 2001 to 2007. Carolyn's educational background includes 11 GCSEs at Alderman Blaxill School and further studies at Itchen College.
Titon
Titon manufactures and supplies ventilation and window and door hardware products – ranging from its signature Trimvent background ventilator to window handles, locking systems and hinge systems to powered ventilation products including whole house systems and extract fans. As a manufacturer, Titon also invests heavily in research and development, which enables the company to use the latest technology to keep its products both innovative and cost effective. Focusing primarily on new build and social housing, Titon works with house builders to assist in compliance with certain aspects of Building Regulations and Standards, particularly ventilation in housing. Titon’s own dedicated Building Regulations website www.partf.co.uk is a comprehensive resource on legislation, how it affects house design, and offers tools such as CPD (Continuing Professional Development) seminars for architects and consultants. Titon has specialist divisions focusing on its main market areas – Timber and PVCu - Aluminium - Ventilation Systems These divisions have their own dedicated sales teams which cover the UK. They are supported from the Head Office in Colchester with full administration and marketing departments. Additionally, a state-of-the-art manufacturing base at Haverhill is home to the production and research and development departments. As you would expect, Titon places a strong emphasis on quality, testing and customer service and is also affiliated to a number of industry organisations. In addition to its UK activities, Titon exports its products to a range of overseas markets. The USA market is supplied through its wholly owned subsidiary; Titon Inc. Elsewhere Titon has appointed distributors within most major world markets including another wholly owned subsidiary, Titon Korea. Titon works closely with these distributors to supply its products effectively and to support them in providing the high level of service synonymous with the Titon brand.
