Rutger van der Meer

Rutger van der Meer currently serves as the directeur of TivoliVredenburg Horeca, overseeing a team of 475 staff to support the mission of providing accessible music experiences for all. The Horeca division includes Grandcafé het Gegeven Paard, Kitchen Bar Danel, and the artists' restaurant King's Cross. Previously, Rutger held several roles at TivoliVredenburg, including operationeel manager for the Burgundy Street hospitality branch and interim teamleider for hospitality services. With a diverse background in the hospitality sector, Rutger founded Let it Happen in 2019, after many years in various managerial positions at JMW and a stint coordinating Covid-19 testing at GGD regio Utrecht. Their career began at Jaarbeurs Utrecht, where Rutger worked as an F&B planner.
