Chris Strong

Chris Strong is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in embedded software and systems engineering within the transportation sector. Currently serving as a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer at TK Elevator, Chris has previously held positions such as Embedded Software Engineer at Alstom, where development focused on safety-critical software for rail systems, and Senior RF/Systems Engineer at Norfolk Southern Corporation, managing positive train control systems and radio network planning. Chris began a career in aerospace as a Satellite Avionics Hardware Research Engineer at Auburn University and contributed software development efforts at Textron Systems. Chris holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Wireless Software Engineering from Auburn University and is pursuing dual Master of Science degrees in Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering.
