Summer (Nancy) Larson, Ph.D., MSW, is a seasoned professional in social work and academia with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Foster Care/Adoption Social Worker at TLC Child and Family Services since January 2017, Larson has previously held various academic positions, including Associate Faculty and Program Chair at Ashford University, as well as Assistant Professor roles at California State University, Sacramento, The University of Arizona, Arizona State University, and the University of Washington, Tacoma. Larson's early career involved significant contributions as a Program Development Specialist at Lutheran Social Services and as a Graduate Student Intern in case management. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Social Welfare and an MSW from the University of Washington, complementing a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from Western Washington University.
