Tony Hoffmann

Tony Hoffmann is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate and securities law. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at TMX Group since February 2017, Tony previously held the position of Legal Counsel at The Canadian Depository for Securities Limited from May 2005, where responsibilities included drafting and approving various agreements and managing contract negotiations. Prior experience includes serving as National Coordinator for the Commercial Law Strategy at the Uniform Law Conference of Canada, overseeing significant law reform projects, and working as an Articling Student at The Investment Funds Institute of Canada. Tony holds a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property and Finance from McGill University as well as a Bachelor of Laws from the same institution, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Queen's University.
