Deborah Silliman

Deborah Silliman is a seasoned Communications Manager currently leading communication efforts for the ATL Leadership Network at TNTP since August 2021. Prior to this role, Deborah served as the District Publications Editor for San Antonio ISD from February 2018 to August 2021, where responsibilities included managing content and design for various communications, notably contributing to the successful Bond 2020 campaign. Deborah's background also encompasses extensive experience in academic communications at The University of Texas at San Antonio College of Engineering, where various roles spanned from Senior Communications Coordinator to Communications Specialist, focusing on marketing campaigns and social media management. Earlier in Deborah's career, positions included Freelance Photographer for Habla Ya Spanish Schools and Editorial Assistant at the Defense Language Institute. Deborah holds a Bachelor's Degree in Photojournalism and Fine Arts from Syracuse University and multiple master's degrees, including TESOL from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
