Michele Listokin

Michele Listokin is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in education law and governance. Currently serving as Deputy General Counsel and Partner at TNTP since March 2016, Michele has also held the role of Interim General Counsel during this time. Prior experience includes positions as Head of School Advisory and Senior Legal Counsel at Success Academy Charter Schools, as well as a law clerk at the Maryland Court of Appeals. Michele began legal career as a student attorney at the Civil Rights of Persons with Disabilities Clinic and has held various legal roles, including fellowships and internships with significant organizations such as the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Department of Education. Michele holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Maryland, a Master of Science in Teaching from Pace University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Government, Law, and Society from Cornell University.
