Nicola Davies has accumulated a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Nicola began their professional journey as a Senior Merchandiser/Merchandiser at Debenhams in 1990, where they worked until 1999. From there, they held positions such as Space Planning Manager and Merchandising Manager at Debenhams before joining New Look as a Retail Operations Controller in 2004. In 2008, they served as the Interim Retail Marketing Director/Consulting at Levis Strauss and Co before transitioning to the role of Merchandising Consultant at Habitat from 2009 to 2010. Following this, Nicola joined Home Retail Group PLC as a Business Strategy & Process Consultant from 2011 to 2013. Their next significant role was at FitFlop, a global footwear brand, where they worked as the Director of Merchandising & Operations. Additionally, they set up a merchandising function, managed the 5-year Strategic Business Plan process, and optimized production efficiencies across Asia based factories. Since June 2008, Nicola has served as the Managing Director at Shore by Design. Most recently, they have become the Head of Merchandising & Planning at TOAST.
