Suket Somani

Suket Somani is a seasoned software engineering leader with extensive experience in digital payments and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Toast since July 2023, Suket previously spent over a decade at PayPal, where roles included Senior Software Development Manager and Manager of Software Development. At PayPal, Suket successfully led teams focused on enhancing the Merchant Experience, driving the implementation of AI/ML personalization features, and facilitating seamless onboarding processes for merchants. Earlier career roles include positions at Calyx Software, San Jose State University, and ADCC Infocad Limited, showcasing a strong foundation in software engineering and automation analysis. Suket holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics from Nagpur University.
