Michael Devanny

Michael Devanny has a diverse work experience in banking and finance. Michael currently holds the position of Corporate Relationship Director at Together - loans, mortgages & finance since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Bank of China, where they had two roles. From October 2019 to April 2022, they served as a Relationship Manager Corporate Banking, focusing on SME and Mid-Cap Corporates. In this role, they led the bank's middle market corporate business development and strategy. From December 2018 to October 2019, they worked as a Transportation Relationship Manager Corporate Banking, responsible for client coverage and managing a portfolio of large corporate client relationships in the Transportation sector. Michael had experience in establishing new relationships, lead generation, and supporting clients with their financing needs. Before joining Bank of China, Michael worked at UK Export Finance where they held various roles. From August 2016 to December 2018, they were a Senior Underwriter in Aerospace & Defence, leading the structuring of multi-sector transactions and working on significant defence transactions. From September 2015 to July 2016, they worked as an Underwriter in Trade Finance & Insurance Solutions, closing transactions across UKEF's range of short-term products. And from December 2014 to August 2015, they were a Post Issue Management & Claims Officer, managing UKEF's exposure in various sectors and handling claims.

Michael Devanny attended Bingley Grammar School from 2001 to 2008. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at Leeds Beckett University from 2008 to 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in History with a focus on European History. Additionally, in May 2018, they obtained the Award in Trade Finance from The Institute of Export & International Trade.
