John L'Heureux

John L'Heureux is a seasoned atmospheric data scientist with a strong background in GIS and data sciences. Currently serving as the Lead Manager at Tomorrow.io since April 2019, John has held various positions including Senior Atmospheric Data Scientist and Atmospheric Data Scientist. Prior experience includes roles as a Data Scientist at International Farming Corporation, LLC, where responsibilities involved developing auto-refreshing web dashboards and handling large data ingestion, and as a Meteorological Data Analyst at AWhere, Inc., focusing on enhancing global weather grids and developing error tracking algorithms. John commenced a career in GIS at North Carolina State, contributing significantly to tornado measurement techniques and agriculture-based mapping applications. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Appalachian State University.
