Kodie Altvater

Kodie Altvater is an accomplished engineer specializing in FPGA and hardware design, currently serving as Principal FPGA Engineer I at CesiumAstro since October 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Principal and Senior FPGA & HW Design Engineer at Tomorrow.io from September 2021 to October 2024, and as ASIC and FPGA Staff Engineer at Lockheed Martin from June 2018 to September 2021. Kodie began a career in engineering at Northrop Grumman as an Electrical Engineer from July 2014 to June 2018, and completed an electrical engineering internship at Agilent Technologies in mid-2013. Early experience includes a position as Space Systems Engineer at The Student Space Programs Laboratory in the summer of 2012. Kodie holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University (2015-2017) and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Penn State University (2010-2014).
