Martine Rose is inspired by her Jamaican-British heritage and her deep interest and personal involvement in the music and high / low melting-pot cultures of London. Family and community are at the heart of the company.
Her unique aesthetic is informed by an investigation of proportion and silhouette, surprising textures and fabrications and fluent referencing of subcultural contexts.
As the brand continues to expand its global footprint and influence, we are searching for a visionary Managing Director to lead our brand to new heights.
Position Overview:
As the Managing Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Martine Rose. Working closely with Martine and the Tomorrow leadership team, you will bring your dynamic and strategic leadership to drive our brand forward. Your extensive experience in marketing and communications, coupled with a deep understanding of the fashion industry, will be key.
You will oversee all operations, ensuring that marketing and product strategies are seamlessly integrated to fuel brand growth and enhance our global recognition, always staying true to Martine Rose's unique DNA.
You will also be responsible for presenting the company's profit and loss (P&L) reports to the Board of Directors and collaborating with Tomorrow’s team to set and achieve sales targets across wholesale and retail channels. Working closely with Tomorrow’s Finance department will be essential to your success in this role.
Marketing, Communications, and Brand Development: You will oversee the development and execution of marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and engage our target audience. This includes crafting a coherent brand strategy and leading digital campaigns, while also safeguarding our brand identity and seeking opportunities for expansion.
Team Leadership and Financial Accountability: In leading a high-performing team, you'll foster a collaborative and inclusive environment and take full responsibility for the company's P&L. Your leadership will directly influence our financial health and operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience: Candidates should possess a proven leadership track record within the fashion industry, with extensive marketing experience, strategic thinking abilities, and a solid educational background in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Reporting and Compensation: You will report directly to the Founder and the Board of Directors. The role offers a salary range of £110,000 to £130,000 annually, plus potential bonuses and options
