Stella Mabaso

Stella Mabaso has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as an HR Practitioner at Tongaat Hulett since April 2020, where responsibilities include guiding processes in the employment cycle. Prior to this role, Stella held the position of Assistant Human Resource Manager at Tongaat Hulett Sugar, partnering with Agricultural Operations management to implement HR initiatives addressing business needs. Previous roles at Tongaat Hulett Sugar included Human Resource Officer, focusing on incapacity management and industrial relations, as well as Human Resource Assistant, overseeing employee engagement and movements. Earlier positions included Senior Clerk and Creditors Clerk, managing payroll and invoice processing. Stella holds a Bcom Honours in Business Management with a focus on Human Resources from the University of South Africa, complemented by a Management Development Programme from Stellenbosch Business School and a National Diploma in Human Resources Management from the University of South Africa, alongside a certificate in Agricultural Leadership Development from the University of Pretoria.
