Chris Throup

Chris Throup is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Too Good To Go since September 2023, Chris previously held positions as a Java Developer at one.com and as a Senior Software Engineer at Dixa, where expertise in Scala, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and other technologies was utilized. Chris has also contributed significantly at Tradeshift, where an engineering site lead role was combined with responsibilities as an engineering manager and team lead. Earlier experience includes leadership and development roles at Mind Click and Capita, focusing on cloud management and Moodle-based systems, as well as various web development positions. Educational credentials include a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics from the University of Nottingham and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Warwick.
