Matthew Dawson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales and business development within the manufacturing and power generation sectors. Currently serving as an Account Manager at Tooling U-SME since March 2020, Matthew is responsible for selling training solutions to manufacturers across the United States. As the Owner of Dawson Development Properties since February 2018, Matthew also manages real estate ventures. Previously, at ABB from April 2011 to January 2018, Matthew held various roles, including Business Development Manager for Power Generation Care, where responsibility included driving growth strategies, and Inside Sales for the Oil, Gas, and Chemicals group, providing sales support. Matthew also excelled as Sales & Marketing Manager for ABB University, transforming it from a cost center to a profit center, and completed a rotational leadership program at ABB, progressing through roles of Sales & Marketing Engineer, Operations Engineer, and Systems Engineer. Matthew holds a degree from Ohio State University, earned between 2006 and 2011.
