Rich Heley

Rich Heley is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in product development and engineering. Currently serving as the Chief Device Officer at Tools for Humanity since April 2024, Rich is focused on building AI-powered Iris imaging devices. Prior roles include significant leadership positions at Facebook, where responsibilities ranged from overseeing product integrity to managing concept engineering and manufacturing initiatives. As a former Vice President at Tesla, Rich led product technology and excellence, significantly enhancing manufacturing processes and quality. Rich's career began at Apple, where leadership in mechanical engineering contributed to key product innovations. Rich holds a Master’s degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree from the RPI Lally School of Management.
