Amie Haltman-Carson is an experienced professional in community living and support services, currently serving as the Director of Community Living at Toolworks since May 2006. In this role, Amie manages daily operations for Independent Living Case Lead and Community Integration and Employment Services, supervises Program Managers and Coordinators, and oversees billing for Employment Services. Amie's prior roles at Toolworks include Assistant Director of Community Living, where responsibilities encompassed direct care, advocacy, and staff supervision, and positions focused on adults with developmental disabilities. Before Toolworks, Amie worked at Mt. Diablo Unified School District as a Special Education Assistant in a Mental Health Collaborative Program, assisting students with mental health disabilities. Amie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Fine/Studio Arts from California Lutheran University, obtained in 2004.
