Scott Richard Hovey

Scott Richard Hovey possesses extensive experience in corporate compliance, legal counsel, and business strategy through various leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently, Hovey serves as AGC - Corporate, M&A, and Compliance at TopBuild since September 2021. Previously, Hovey held the position of Vice President and Chief Compliance and Integrity Officer at Vertiv Co, where responsibilities included the implementation of a global Ethics and Compliance program and data privacy compliance. Additional roles include Senior Counsel for Global Compliance and Procurement at Xylem Inc., General Counsel for the Americas at Sensus, and Corporate Associate specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions at K&L Gates. Hovey began their career in technical support and sales roles at IBM, AppliedTheory, and Interpath Communications, along with a foundational position as a Market Analyst at Xerox. Hovey earned a J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a minor in Economics from St. John Fisher University.
