James Aman is the founder and CTO of Topl, a blockchain-based platform that enables organizations to operate without central points of control. James was previously the Chief Technology Officer at Corporate Partners in Education, where they researched, developed, and led the core technology platform development. James also engaged with investors to raise capital and facilitate corporate partnerships. Prior to that, they were the Database Administrator at St. Pius X High School, where they managed day-to-day operations and resolved problems relating to the Blackbaud systems Education Edge, Financial Edge, Raiser’s Edge, and NetCommunity website management databases. James also oversaw the migration of Blackbaud products from local installations to Blackbuad Application Hosting. In addition, they planned and implemented the infrastructure, management, and access policy for wireless networking throughout the campus. James also organized and implemented a Citrix virtual desktop environment to facilitate student access to computer resources by using thin client technology. James also setup Citrix Access Gateway to allow employee access to internal resources while off campus. Lastly, they integrated network level authentication of all end users into Active Directory user management.
James Aman's educational career began with a Bachelor of Science in General Physics and Chemical Physics from Rice University. James then went on to complete a Masters of Science in Atomic/Molecular Physics from the same school. Finally, James Aman earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Atomic/Molecular Physics from Rice University.
Their manager is Kim Raath, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Aaron Schutza - Director of Research, Anna Mcguffee - Chief of Staff, and Timothy Marx - Head of Commercialization.
