Alexander Bachmann is a seasoned professional in the field of photonics and optical semiconductors, currently serving as Senior Director of R&D Technology at TOPTICA Photonics since September 2017. Previous roles at TOPTICA include R&D Director and Program Manager for Optical Semiconductors. Before this, Alexander held positions as Senior Development Engineer and Marketing Engineer at OSRAM Opto Semiconductors from May 2010 to July 2017. Alexander earned a Doktor (Ph.D.) in Physics from the Technical University of Munich, completing the degree between 2001 and 2010.
