Rob Pettigrew

Rob Pettigrew is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in firmware development and project management. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Torc Robotics since January 2023, Rob previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Kollmorgen from April 2015 to January 2023, where responsibilities included product ownership of the AKD2G firmware and leadership roles such as scrum master. Earlier in their career, Rob contributed to GE Intelligent Platforms as a Computer Engineer, developing firmware for critical power plant control systems and earning over 15 patents in the field. Rob's journey began with an internship at Flowserve Corporation, where significant improvements were made to firmware testing processes. Educationally, Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech.
