Sandra Klute is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and project management within the fields of data security, robotics, and optical sensing technologies. As Co-Founder of Dogwood Logic (DLinc) since January 2019, Sandra is dedicated to providing advanced data security solutions for the Department of Defense. Concurrently, at TORC Robotics, Sandra holds dual roles as Program Manager for the Air Force and Technical Lead Project Manager, focusing on the development of autonomous systems. Previous experience includes serving as R&D Manager and Technology Development Director at Luna Innovations Incorporated, where Sandra led significant research initiatives on fiber-optic sensing technologies for aerospace and automotive applications, managing projects for government clients such as NASA and the Department of Defense. Sandra's career began at Motion Control Systems, Inc. and NASA Langley Research Center, contributing to advanced research in aerodynamics, fluid dynamics, and motor system design. Sandra earned a Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from Virginia Tech.
