Sheril Avikkal Kunhippurayil

Sheril Avikkal Kunhippurayil is a Senior System Design Engineer at Torc Robotics since September 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at Utah State University from August 2018 to November 2021, where responsibilities included conducting lab sessions and research on optimal control problems for spacecraft, contributing to a NASA project on lunar and Martian ascent strategies, and developing navigation techniques for spacecraft around small celestial bodies. Prior experience also includes a position as a Systems Engineer at Infosys, involved in feature development for Cisco Unified Call Manager. Sheril holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Utah State University and has degrees from Virginia Tech, University of Glasgow, and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in related fields.
