Dave Harris has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Structural Engineer at Arup. Dave then transitioned to become an Editor at Harcourt Education in 2004. In 2006, they became a Marketing Manager at Architects Design Partnership before moving on to be a Digital Project Manager / Delivery Manager at Torchbox from 2007 to 2011.
Dave joined Sustrans in 2012 as a Digital Manager, where they developed and delivered the organization's digital strategy. In 2014, they returned to Torchbox as an Account Director, overseeing client projects. Dave progressed to become a Product Director in 2019, where they led strategic initiatives for third-sector clients. Additionally, Dave took on the role of Trustee Director of the Employee Owned Trust at Torchbox, ensuring the company's values and employee benefits.
Currently, Dave is Head of Product (Charities) at Torchbox, a position they assumed in December 2021. In this role, they are responsible for managing digital product development for various charitable organizations.
Dave Harris obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree in Architectural Engineering from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained certifications in the People Skills Programme from Team Sterka in November 2021 and in Agile Project and Delivery Management from ICAgile in April 2021.
