David Ellis

David Ellis is a highly experienced engineering professional with a robust background in robotics, automation, and guidance and control systems. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer at The Toro Company since June 2020, Ellis previously held significant roles at United Technologies as a Senior Engineer and GNC Lead, and as a GNC Systems Engineer at SAIC. With a foundation built at BAE Systems, Boeing Satellite Systems, and Raytheon Missile Systems, Ellis has demonstrated expertise in software design, simulation development, and embedded coding in C++ and Matlab/Simulink. Ellis holds a Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
