Jaime MacHuca

Jaime Machuca is a highly experienced robotics engineer and executive with a diverse background in software development and team leadership. Currently serving as the Perception Team Lead and Senior Principal Robotics Engineer at The Toro Company, Jaime leads a multidisciplinary team to develop advanced perception pipelines for autonomous robots, ensuring seamless integration and robust performance. With prior roles as Senior Principal Robotics Engineer at Element Aero, Inc. and Chief Executive Officer at both Element Aerospace and ArduPilot, Jaime has demonstrated expertise in overseeing technical operations and steering innovative projects. Additional experience includes directing software development teams at AION ROBOTICS and serving on the board of directors at the Dronecode Foundation. Jaime's earlier career involved significant contributions at Continental and Richardson Electronics, developing software solutions and technical designs across various industries. Jaime holds a degree in Electrical Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
