Kurt D. Svendsen

VP, Technology at Toro

Kurt Svendsen was appointed vice president, technology in March 2023. Previously, he served as vice president, strategy, corporate and channel development from November 2020 to March 2023, and vice president of information services from May 2013 to October 2020. Svendsen is responsible for aligning The Toro Company’s Center for Technology, Research and Innovation (CTRI) and Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) with strategic technologies and integrated customer solutions.

Svendsen served in multiple information technology roles at Andersen Consulting and Medtronic before joining The Toro Company in 1999 and held various information services management positions. Starting in 2007, he spent six years in business roles as a director in The Toro Company's strategy and business development group, and then managing director of investor relations, corporate communications and community relations efforts, before returning to lead the information services organization.

Svendsen holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management.
