Rich Grant

Co-Founder & Managing Director at Touchdown Ventures

Rich is a co-founder of Touchdown Ventures and leads the firm’s San Francisco office. He has spent his entire career—more than 20 years—in roles focused on corporate growth and innovation. Prior to co-founding Touchdown, Rich spent seven years in venture capital and strategic development at Comcast, where he covered a variety of sectors ranging from enterprise software to consumer internet and was involved in more than a dozen investments. Before joining Comcast Ventures, Rich spent ten years in operating roles for media and technology companies. This included leading strategic development for Comcast Interactive Media and a role in corporate development for Sony Pictures. Earlier in his career, Rich worked in investment banking for Lehman Brothers.

Rich graduated with the highest honors from UC Santa Barbara and received an MBA from The Wharton School, where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar.

Rich is a founding board member of Naturally Bay Area, a non-profit corporation that connects entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate innovators in the food and natural products community.
