Hugh W. Long, PhD is Professor of Health Systems Management and Adjunct Professor of Law at Tulane University. He is a past member of Congress’s Medicare Payment Advisory Commission and former chair of the Medicare Geographic Classification Review Board. He is a consulting economic expert in health-related civil litigation and a frequent lecturer on fiscal management for the American College of Physician Executives. He also serves as the President of the Board of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra.
