Kevin Avery is a Senior GIS Technician with extensive experience in geographic information systems. Currently employed by the Town of Queensbury since November 2015, Kevin previously worked with Warren County, New York, where responsibilities included quality assurance and updates to GIS databases. Earlier roles included a GIS Analyst position at the NYS Office of Information Technology Services, contributing to spatial improvements and hurricane scenario analyses, as well as previous roles managing sewer data and projects at Parker Sewer and Fire Subdistrict and Baran Telecom. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Northeastern Illinois University and a certificate in Advanced Geographic Information Systems from Greenville Technical College.

Town of Queensbury
Queensbury NY is one of the most vibrant and beautiful towns in New York State. Located at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains in Warren County on the shores of Lake George, Queensbury was once a popular hunting and fishing area for the Iroquois.
