Renae Stavros, AICP, is a seasoned urban planner with extensive experience in municipal planning and real estate. Current work as Planner III at the Town of Superior began in April 2022, following tenure as City Planner for the City of Federal Heights from November 2017 to May 2022. Experience includes roles such as Real Estate Broker at Modern Real Estate and Planning Coordinator at R&R Engineers-Surveyors, Inc. Renae has contributed to various initiatives, including serving on the Finance Committee of Walk Denver and conducting climate resilience research for the Rocky Mountain Climate Organization. Renae holds a Master's degree in Urban & Regional Planning from San Jose State University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from California State University, Chico.

Town of Superior

Superior is a statutory town in Boulder County, Colorado and was founded in 1896 and incorporated in 1904. The Town reportedly was named after the "superior"​ quality of coal found in the area. The Town has a well-educated, family-centered population of 13,189 residents within 4 square miles along the productive US 36 corridor.
