Numair Islam

Numair Islam, CPA, is an experienced financial professional with a diverse background in municipal finance, taxation, and accounting roles across various industries. Currently serving as a Financial Analyst at the Township of Langley since September 2022, Numair previously worked as a Tax Auditor at Canada Revenue Agency and an Intermediate Accountant at GLENTEL Inc., where responsibilities included financial reporting, account reconciliation, and compliance projects. Earlier experience includes roles at the Executive Plaza Hotel Coquitlam as Accountant/Controller, managing full cycle accounting and payroll, as well as auditing and analysis positions at SMS International Ltd. and the Office of the Auditor General. Numair holds a B.Eng. in Electronics and Telecommunications, a Diploma in Accounting from UBC's Sauder School of Business, and a Certificate in Management and Administration from the University of Manitoba.
