Clare Muhoro is a seasoned academic and scientific professional with extensive experience in higher education and research. Currently serving as the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Professor of Chemistry at Towson University since 2005, Clare has also held the position of Director of Competitive Fellowships and Awards within the Office of the Provost. Prior to this role, Clare contributed to USAID Washington from September 2013 to August 2019 as Senior Science Advisor and Research Advisor, including fellowship involvement with AAAS. Clare's academic career began at Shippensburg University from 1999 to 2004 as an Associate Professor. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Organometallic Chemistry from Yale University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from St. Lawrence University.
