Towson University
Matt Nugent serves as the Dean at Towson University since 2023 and previously held the position of Associate Dean for Research, Innovation and Partnerships at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2013 until September 2023, along with being a Professor and Chairman. Prior to this, Matt Nugent was a Professor at Boston University School of Medicine from 1993 to 2013. Matt Nugent completed postdoctoral research in Chemical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1989 to 1992 and earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Brandeis University, where also received a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry. Education began at Watertown High School, graduating in 1979.
