Sergey Zakharov

Sergey Zakharov is a Senior Research Scientist at Toyota Research Institute since November 2020, specializing in scalable 3D object detection and pose estimation. Previously, Sergey held positions as Research Scientist at Toyota Research Institute and Doctoral Researcher at Siemens, focusing on feature learning and domain adaptation. Sergey has also worked as a Research Intern in computer vision and deep learning for autonomous driving and as a working student at Siemens and Technolas Perfect Vision GmbH. Sergey holds a Ph.D. in Computer Vision, two Master's degrees in Biomedical Computing and Computational Science and Engineering, and Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Production Technology from the Technical University of Munich and other institutions.
