Mohamed Vahed

Mohamed Vahed is currently serving as a Senior Manager in Environmental Engineering and Management at Toyota Motor Corporation, focusing on carbon neutrality and energy since August 2023. Prior to this role, Mohamed worked at Sasol for six years, progressing from Reliability Engineer to Senior Reliability Engineer within various power station systems. Before Sasol, Mohamed was a Management Consultant at Deloitte South Africa and held tutor positions at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where responsibilities included teaching engineering materials and thermodynamics. Early career experience includes roles as a Candidate Engineer at Transnet Engineering and Assistant Turbine Engineer at Eskom, alongside a Mechanical Engineer position at Elangeni Oil and Soaps. Mohamed holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
