Brian Fricks is a seasoned game designer with extensive experience in the gaming industry. Currently serving as Principal Game Designer at Toys For Bob since September 2018, Brian previously held the position of Lead Metagame Designer at Wargaming Seattle from 2013 to 2018, where responsibilities included managing a small team and overseeing game economy and progression design. As a founding member of Wargaming Seattle, Brian also took on the role of Design Manager/Lead Gameplay Designer, focusing on core gameplay and team management for two unannounced PC MMOs. Prior to that, Brian was the Lead Designer at Gas Powered Games from 2003 to 2013, contributing to titles such as Kings and Castles and Age of Empires Online, and serving in various roles, including Lead Campaign Designer for Supreme Commander II and Content Engineer for Space Siege. Brian's journey in game design began with level and mission design for Dungeon Siege II. Holding a BFA in Studio Art Education with a concentration in Sculpture from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Brian combines artistic skills with technical expertise in game development.
